After graduating in Sociology (University of Montpellier) and International Relations (Institute of Political Studies in Paris – Sciences-Po), Frédéric worked at ProChile promoting Chilean wines and food products in Europe then at Comexposium for the Brussels Wine Fair. Since moving to Barcelona in 2004, he has founded the desembolic consultancy firm providing support for foreign companies in the Spanish market. He also continues to be a correspondent in Spain for several magazines specialising in the wine industry and an ambassador for international competitions such as the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the Concours Mondial du Sauvignon and Grenaches du Monde, as well as contributing to their international communications. Director of public and press relations for Cava winery Gramona from 2006 to 2009, he was awarded the Cava editorial award in 2010 for a report published in the magazines Vino! (Belgium) and Cupatges (Catalonia).
Graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Barcelona, Master in Viticulture and Oenology (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) and Degree in Strategic Communication Management (ESADE). He worked for more than 16 years in the wine industry, 14 of them as Communications Director of the Bodegas Torres in the Penedès region, where he created the Communications and Public Relations Department. In 2010, he moved to another sector and spent 4 years in the Communications Department of banking companies (Caixa Penedès and BMN) where he acquired a profound knowledge of Crisis Communications Management. He then became head of the Barcelona communications agency InterMèdia, where he completed his knowledge of Corporate Communications and Strategic Marketing. He also acts as Director of Communications for governmental institutions. Since then, he has been working as a consultant in communications, branding and strategy.
